Who are we?
Omoana is a Swiss non-profit organisation whose mission is to provide strategic, technical and financial support to young people in Uganda and Iraq.
Omoana processes your personal data in compliance with the applicable data protection laws, in particular in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness & transparency, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, limited storage, integrity & confidentiality.

Where are your data stored?
Our website is hosted in Switzerland. Your data may also be stored with foreign service providers offering an equivalent level of data protection.
How long do we keep your data?
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we retain the personal data we obtain about you for as long as we maintain a commercial relationship with you.
You may at any time exercise your right to have your personal data deleted, see the sections below entitled “What are your rights” and “How to contact us”.

We may transfer the personal data we collect and store such data in other countries which may have different data protection laws to those in force in the country in which the data was provided. How do we protect your data?
Omoana establishes security in accordance with the principles of the RGPD. The measures taken are technical and organisational measures relating to data security in order to guarantee an adequate level of protection with regard to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data and the resilience of systems. The web server and CMS are regularly updated with the latest security patches.
These measures are part of our organisation’s lifecycle and are implemented at all levels of the system. What’s more, security is an ongoing process, not a static element. From this perspective, technical and organisational measures are subject to technical progress and further development, just like risks and threats.
Changes to our Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time without prior notice to reflect changes in our information practices. We will indicate at the top of this Privacy Policy when it was last updated.
